Lexus has established itself in the last three decades as one of the world’s leading luxury car suppliers. Earlier, Lexus tried his hand in fine dining, design, and movies. Now the Toyota Premium is branded in a luxury yacht game with its amazing 65-foot LY 650.
Lexus has partnered with Marquis-Larson Boat Group, a company based in Pulaski, Wisconsin, to build, sell and service yacht. The two brands also worked together to create the 42-foot Lexus Sports Yacht Concept last year. LY 650 enables Lexus to “present a dream-like vision of luxury lifestyle, one where Lexus Yacht expands the potential of Lexus mobility to the ocean,” said Lexus Executive Vice President, Shigeki Tomoyama in a statement.
Lexus refers to the LY 650 as its fourth flagship product that participates in the LS sedan, the LX SUV and the LC coupe. This yacht is full of surprises for guests; it is packed with features and comfort. It has an interesting design, layout and impressive interior. The LY 650 measures 65 feet in length with a 19-foot width. The yacht has a broad and prominent arc on the front and they curved tire accents.
The LY is powered by two 12.8-liter inline-6 IPS 1200 diesel engines, each with 900 horsepower. The first production of Lexus yacht is expected to be complete sometime in the second half of 2019. An award is not yet released, but interested parties can reach either Lexus or Marquis-Larson Boat Group.
